About Helping-Hands Soldering Stand with Magnifier
A weighted metal base carries two flexible arms with crocodile clips and a third arm with a 3× glass magnifier. It holds a circuit board, a wire or a small part at the angle you want, so both hands stay free for the iron and the solder.
A spring holder on the base keeps a hot iron off the bench and a sponge in the tray wipes the tip. The arms bend into position and stay where you leave them. The soldering iron is not included.
In the box: Stand with arms, magnifier, iron holder, cleaning sponge

I repair old radios as a hobby and this holds a board at any angle while I solder. The base is heavy enough that it never tips, and the magnifier helps when checking joints. Before this I used tape and a stack of books, so it paid for itself in the first evening.

Thank you, Martin. Happy radio repairing.
- Beata
Sturdy for the price. The clips grip well and the arms stay where I put them. I use it for repairing jewellery chains and it does a good job.

Thanks Beata, glad it works for jewellery repairs.

arms are stiff enough to hold a pcb, the sponge tray is a nice extra. recommended
- Andrei Popa
The second one I have bought, the first went to my brother. The magnifier is not strong but enough to see a solder bridge.
Reply from Wattjunction
Thank you Andrei, and thanks for passing one on to your brother.
- Cristina S.
Does the job. I would like slightly larger clips but I managed with what is there.

Thank you, Cristina.
- Georgi P.
The stand itself is stable and well made. I gave three stars because I did not notice that the magnifier is only 3×, and I need more zoom for small SMD parts. For larger joints it is fine.
Reply from Wattjunction
Thank you for the honest review, Georgi. The 3× lens is listed in the specification table; for fine SMD work a stronger lens would suit you better.
