About Bench Vice, 100 mm
A cast-iron bench vice with 100 mm wide steel jaws. Bolt it to a workbench and it holds timber, metal or pipe still while you saw, file, drill or bend. The base swivels through 360° and locks, so the work can be turned without unbolting anything.
The back of the body is a small flat anvil for light hammering, and the jaw faces are serrated to bite on rough stock. Mounting bolts are not included.

Bolted this to my garage workbench on Saturday and it has not moved since. The jaws line up properly and the swivel base locks firmly. Very happy for the money.

I needed something for filing and small metal jobs. The grooves in the jaws hold tube well, and the little anvil on the back is useful for straightening a bent bracket. Nothing wobbles, even when I lean into a long file. It is bolted to a thick plank in the shed and the swivel still turns smoothly.

Cast iron feels solid. One corner of the paint is chipped but it doesn't matter for something like this. Using it every weekend now.
